You are floating,
On a sea of emptiness,
Not knowing what it is,
That you always miss.

No place to rest,
No safe place to be,
You wonder if dawn
Is something you will see.

It seems small wonder,
That you seem to be lost,
Because every boundary,
You have crossed,
Everything fades,
And everything disappears,
As you pass through ever more,
Numberless years.

Nobody shows faith in you,
Not friend or family,
Everyone wants to change you,
But you just want to be.

You get punished,
And things are taken away,
Insecurities are hunting you,
With your mind as the prey.

Everyone who can,
Tried to change you through repression,
And they all seem surprised,
When you slip into depression.

You wall them out and they wall you in,
Making too small of a cage,
For a wild heart and a free soul to be happy,
They cause you to turn to a rage.

Forget them all and come with me,
Past your walls and barricades I can see,
And I know that you will be afraid,
But a new future is about to be made,
Unlike those who judge only what you do,
I love you unconditionally for being you.

Nothing may be permanent,
But I know one thing will always be true,
If I should be taken far away,
I will be fighting my way back to you,
Because to be by your side,
There is nothing that I wouldn’t do.

So if I seem gone for ever,
Wipe away all your tears,
I will be back to soothe,
All your aching fears,
And stand by your side,
For countless years.

I will always be here,
I will always be in love with you,
I will always have trust and faith in you,
And every thing that you do.

So look to the times of impermanence,
And the times your world seems to fall apart,
Because those will be the same times,
That I prove the constant love in my heart.

I have unending strength and faith,
And I offer myself as refuge,
I am here when you need shelter,
From life’s unending deluge.

I believe in you,
Trust in what you do,
I have faith in you,
And my love is true,
All because of who you are,
So no matter how near of far,
I will love you always and forevermore,
You alone make my spirit soar,
No catches or secret reasons why,
I love you so I will never say goodbye.
